Jeri's Fourth of July Invites

Jeri has come to me after seeing my Cousin's invitations. Her theme is vintage 4th of July, since she is getting married on the 4th! The boxes around the invites/inserts is where it would be cut. They are going to panel pockets, with dark blue metallic pocket and a dark red backing layer and white metallic paper with white metallic envelopes, she is choosing between doing and not doing inner envelopes and if she choose to do them she is doing dark red metallic inner envelopes. I am working on her map at the moment to go on the back of the directions insert.

Starting tomorrow I will only have three orders to fulfill, one of which won't be until after my cousin's wedding.

Once again I am not taking any new orders until after April 18th, Starting June 1st there were will be a design fee ($30 for no custom map, $50 including custom map) added to the invite price.

Allison's Invitations will be done first following my cousin's wedding, then projects will be worked on in the order received. All invitation orders will not be worked on until final payment is made.

I will be posting pictures of Brent/Cynthia's Rehersal Dinner and After Wedding Brunch invites and of Jessica's Wedding Invitation suite!

Jennifer's CD Favor Holders

I made Jessica's Invitations back in December and she came back to me for her CD Favors. We used her monogram and then made a pocket for the CD to go in. After making 100 of them and not thinking about testing it, I found that 5 inches was too small. Luckily she is incredibly patient and has been waiting for these for a while. I remade them 5.5 inches and the fit the CD snug enough so that it won't move around and scratch. They will be mailed out tomorrow!!
Advice to anyone who tries to make these, account for the size of the glue strips when measuring!!

Karla's Boarding Pass

Karla purchased her boarding pass save the dates as soon as she received the sample in the mail! I love the silver and black, very classic.

Natalie Save the Dates

Her save the dates were a labor of love. We came across a problem wtih printing on metallic becuase of how the design was! We came up with a solution which made the save the dates look even better! Here is what she had to say about them:

We received the save the dates last night and they look better than I ever could have imagined. Everything looked perfect! I can't thank you enough for your help and hard work. These truly are amazing and I'm so proud to send them out. We stuffed and stamped all of them last night and they're already in the mail. Update

Once again a busy week. I had another printer mishap this weekend that pushed things off a couple days. I had my magenta ink cartridge explode! Then Best Buy tried to tell me it was my fault! All I did was put it in my printer then my printer moaned and went boom! Luckily it was just messy and didn't mess up my printer, it just took forever to clean it. I had to use a toothbrush to get into the crevices! Since that ate up most of my saturday, it just left sunday to work. I have listed below the order that projects are going to be worked on.



1. Jennifer- CD Favors Mail out on Thursday, the news ones are scored, I just have to put the pockets on and the labels

2. Karla- Boarding Passes mail out on Wednsday, just have to round corners and make the jackets then they are ready to go.

3. Jessica- Print invites, have them cut and assembled. Print Addresses. These will be mailed out on Friday or Monday.

4. Allison- Print invites and start to assemble. Still need addresses but we have time! Thank you for your patience!

5. Brent/Cynthia- Print Rehersal Dinner and Day After Brunch, get cut

6. Cassandra- Print Boarding Pass Save the Dates


All of this will be done mailed out by the end of next week and no more orders will be taken until after my cousin's wedding April 18th! I am sorry for the inconvience, I just don't have the time with all of the stuff I have to do!

Sorry for the lack of posts, I have been incredibly busy at both my full time job (a paralegal) and my design shop. After a couple of snafus all of my orders are almost up to date.

As of right now, in order to finish the orders I have, I will not be taking any sample or regular orders until after April 18th. The only ones I will be taking is custom map requests. I will be able to communicate about future orders during this time. Please don't hesitate to email me.

A computer crash and virus today has pushed me off 1-2 days for projects. I am back working on everything and printing everything out.

Stacey was recommended to me by Jennifer (My First Panel Pocket Bride!!). Here are the examples I came up with for her baby shower. Her theme is rubber duckies and she is having a girl so she wanted lots of pink! Her final choice is the fourth choice!!

Computer Calligraphy

Since regular calligraphy is soooo expensive, I have started offering computer calligraphy to clients who order invites or save the dates. They complete the look of the invite. This can be done in the fonts that match your invites or in other beautiful script and sans-serif fonts. The cost is only $15 per 25 addresses.

Ashley's Invitations

Ashley's invites are Black Linen panel pockets with a tiffany blue mettalic backing layer and a ivory invite and inserts. The colors looked so beautiful together!

Shelli's Favor Stickers

So apparently I can't take a picture without it looking blurry! Her color was tiffany blue (teal) and white on a glossy label.

Rainie's Panel Pocket Invites- Final Product

Here are pictures of Rainie's Invites. They came out so great and so elegant looking. Her colors were navy blue, silver and white. All of the paper used were mettallic finish. She also chose to have double envelopes, inner and outer. Her inner were mettalic white with navy mettallic liner and her outer were plain white.
